About The Position
MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This role involves interpreting breast imaging studies, providing radiology coverage at multiple locations, and utilizing the Epic EMR system. The coverage period is from June 22, 2026, ongoing, with a weekday day shift schedule. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- BC in Diagnostic Radiology
- MQSA certified
- Active South Carolina license
- Minimum 24 months of case logs
- EPIC proficiency
- Must provide Submission checklist and Modality checklist
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Responsibilities
- Interpret breast imaging studies including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI per MQSA standards
- Provide radiology coverage at Orangeburg main location and Hampton satellite location as scheduled (Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri at Orangeburg, Wed at Hampton)
- Cross-credential with all supporting locations to read imaging studies across the network
- Utilize Epic EMR proficiently for documentation and communication
- Maintain accurate case logs and comply with all regulatory and MQSA requirements
