About The Position

Provides diagnostic radiological procedures within the scope of practice, including receiving and preparing patients and equipment for procedures. Produces high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats while handling multiple room assignments and different types of exams on a daily basis. Operates routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently within the boundaries of competence, based on documented education, training, supervised experience, state, and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. Practices radiographic safety using "as low as (is) reasonably achievable" (ALARA) concepts. Works with students from approved educational institutions.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school in Radiology; or must have successfully completed a formal education program accredited by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
  • No additional experience required.
