Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
About The Position
Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving northern Utah. They offer a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. The Weber Campus, a new 16,000-square-foot facility, provides emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department, performing high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and following safe radiation practices. This role also involves demonstrating leadership for other associate technologists, acting as a clinical resource, and assuring current standards of practice for the unit.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- ARDMS - registered required
- RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
- Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
Responsibilities
