About The Position

Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests/ultrasound studies inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent required.
• Must be ARDMS registered or obtain within one year of hire.
• Must be BLS certified within 60 days of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year hospital experience preferred.
• Registered ARRT(R) preferred.
• Experienced in non-invasive vascular and echocardiography exams preferred.
• Will cross-train in Echo/Stress Echo.
• Will cross-train in non-invasive vascular exams.

Responsibilities

• Performs general ultrasound.
• Assists radiologist with ultrasound procedures.
• Provides verbal reports to radiologist and other providers.
• Other duties as assigned.
