Diag Medical Sonographer Lead
About The Position
St. Anthony Summit Hospital is a Level III trauma center recognized for patient experience and nursing excellence. We offer a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Summit County and the surrounding region. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Lead, you will provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department, performing high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and following safe radiation practices. You will also demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists, act as a clinical resource to unit personnel, and assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Requirements
- Two years of ultrasound experience
- High School or GED required
- ARDMS - registered RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)
- (ARRT)ARDMS registered RVT(VT) or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT);or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
- BLS through the American Heart Association required
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
- Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
- Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
- Demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists.
- Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel.
- Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
