About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Support Clerk III provides clerical support to physicians, technical staff and medical staff, ensuring the efficient delivery of diagnostic imaging services for patients. The Diagnostic Imaging Support Clerk III also serves as a mentor for other staff, and is proficient in all areas of support functions. This role involves registering and scheduling diagnostic imaging services, assisting with patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Two (2) years of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging setting
Two (2) years of experience in scheduling general diagnostic imaging appointments
Two (2) years of experience demonstrating In-depth knowledge of medical coverage plans including HMO, PPO, and state programs with registration experience and point of service collections
Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish
Prior authorization experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
