About The Position

Master / Diagnostic Automotive Technician - Ed's Car Care Center. Ed's Car Care Center, a GreatWater Garage Shop, is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Diagnostic Technician who enjoys solving complex vehicle issues, delivering high-quality repairs, and taking pride in accurate diagnostics and honest service. Requirements

• 5+ years Experienced A-Level Diagnostic Technician
• Required state and local certifications to be able to legally perform the work
• A current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• ALL 8 ASE certifications
• Has or is willing to earn ASE certifications and work towards being a Master ASE Technician
• Strong diagnostic ability
• Pride in quality workmanship
• Team-first mindset
• Willingness to mentor other technicians

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues
• Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems
• Diagnose and repair 4WD / AWD drivetrain systems
• Perform advanced steering, suspension, and brake system repairs
• Perform advanced HVAC diagnostics and repair
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and provide accurate recommendations
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
• Maintain 90%+ labor productivity
• Serve as technical leaders within the shop
