Beverage Technician - Fort Wayne, IN
About The Position
The Beverage Technician position is responsible for helping the team accomplish daily production, quality, and safety requirements. This role involves following safety guidelines and job requirements, receiving and completing work orders via e-mail, and contributing to a positive and safe work environment. The technician must adhere to state, federal, and company guidelines, and use diagnostic tools to repair hot beverage equipment. Additionally, the role requires completing assigned work and paperwork, following ticketing procedures, communicating professionally with customers, providing equipment training, and maintaining the service vehicle and inventory to company standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must possess basic computer/smartphone skills and own a smartphone.
- Possess valid drivers’ license and be insurable as a driver.
- Ability to travel to stores and occasionally out of town.
- Ability to work alone.
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 year’s experience with hot beverage dispensing equipment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities

- Attends and participates in scheduled training and safety classes.

- Must be able to follow state, federal and company guidelines.
- Ability to use a multimeter and other basic diagnostic tools to diagnose issues on hot beverage equipment in conjunction with service manuals to find the most-cost effective repair
- Completes all assigned work and associated paperwork
- Ability to follow in-house ticketing and work tracking procedures
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers at all levels and strong desire to provide excellent customer service
- Provide equipment training as needed to ensure quality beverage delivery to your customers
- Effectively maintain your service vehicle and inventory to company standards
