Requirements
- One (1) year experience providing diabetes education to individuals and/or groups
- ADCES certification or eligible for certification and will complete within six months
- Registered Dietitian OR Registered Nurse with current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
Nice To Haves
- Knowledgeable about current diabetes treatment management.
- Lead and manage group classes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing Dietary Education and Diabetes self-management education and training to individuals and groups according to the Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice, and Standards of Professional performance for Diabetes Educators (ADCES).
