Join our Saint Luke's Team as a Diabetes Educator - Registered Dietitian! This role is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. A Registered Dietitian is required, and a CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) is required within 2 years of hire. The Diabetes Educator Registered Dietitian is a specialist in the field of Diabetes who is responsible for all aspects of nutrition care for the Diabetes Education Center. This role provides diabetes self-management training and Medical Nutrition Training for patients and their families in accordance with American Diabetes Association Recognition standards, including clinical and behavioral assessment, education, and outcome measurement for individuals and groups. The position collaborates with and serves as an educational resource for the clinic's multidisciplinary team to enhance quality outcomes. Responsibilities include documenting and billing for services within the electronic medical record and promoting wellness by participating in Diabetes education in the community.
