About The Position

We are seeking a remote Diabetes Educator / Registered Dietitian with experience managing diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and liver steatosis through lifestyle-based care. You will work closely with our clinical team to deliver efficient, high-quality education that supports long-term patient outcomes. Physician consultation is available for any questions beyond your scope or training. This role is ideal for a clinician who values prevention, efficiency, and meaningful patient impact. Our practice is a highly respected primary care practice known for in-depth preventive care, with advanced in-house diagnostics, including FibroScan liver fibrosis ultrasounds. We are one of the first primary care offices in the Bay Area to provide FibroScan services and an early adopter of evidence-based lifestyle interventions for metabolic and liver disease.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) and/or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
  • Experience treating patients with diabetes and metabolic disease
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a clinical team
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or strong interest in liver steatosis and fibrosis management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote diabetes and lifestyle education visits
  • Counsel patients on nutrition, weight management, and metabolic health
  • Support patients with liver steatosis and fibrosis using evidence-based lifestyle strategies
  • Reinforce physician-directed care plans
  • Document patient interactions clearly and efficiently
  • Coordinate with the physician for questions or escalation of care
