Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with coding in multiple languages, including SQL, and using PowerBI for delivering analytics including reporting or machine learning.
  • 2 years of experience with data visualization – delivering data to business users using at least one of the following: Qlik, Python, Dash, Looker, or Power BI.
  • 1 year of experience with coding using Python to automate business processes and data pipelines.
  • 1 year of experience utilizing GCP native technologies, Dataform and Docker, to improve data pipelines.
  • 1 year of experience with data engineering – leveraging Google Cloud Platform, Hadoop, or SQL for process re-engineering, and GitHub for code base version control.
  • 1 year of experience with process mapping and re-engineering – consulting with the business to identify problem and provide solutions to improve and automate data flows using Dataform, SQL, or GCP.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire deep understanding of the business problems and translate them into appropriate business solutions.
  • Drive development and delivery of analytic and statistical models using skills such as data acquisition and management, algorithm design, and model development and refinement.
  • Ensure overall quality of the data and solutions throughout the analytic development process.
  • Interpret results and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences including executive leadership.
