About The Position

At Doncasters, we have an exciting opportunity for 2 Dewax Operators to join our team in Groton, Connecticut! Today, we operate across 20 sites worldwide, employing almost 3,000 professionals. We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Dewax Operator to join our manufacturing team in Groton! It’s an exciting time to join or team at Groton as we are expanding our team and investing in our materials! In this role, you will play a key part in the production process by preparing and loading molds onto the appropriate boiler clave trays and operating the required programs with precision.

Requirements

• Ability to follow work instructions and process documents accurately
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Comfortable working with hot materials and industrial machinery

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing (especially in aerospace, automotive, or energy) is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Preparing and loading molds onto the appropriate boiler clave trays
• Operating the required programs with precision
• Follow documented work instructions and technique cards to identify which molds need to be removed from the dry line
• Removing, cutting, or grinding dewax plugs from molds
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work area and equipment
