DevSecOps Senior Automation Platform Engineer

CACI•Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
•$108,400 - $227,500

About The Position

The DevSecOps Senior Automation Platform Engineer works on the DSO Platform, an evolving suite of software development and delivery tools hosted on AWS and built with cloud-native technologies in a container-driven ecosystem on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). The platform includes GitLab, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Nexus Repository, SonarQube, Draw.io, Semgrep, Keycloak, and ArgoCD. AWS-native tools support logging and monitoring, with plans for a Grafana-based monitoring stack in FY26. The engineer automates builds, deployments, testing, and compliance checks through scripting, templates, and pipeline design. They create reusable templates and consistent, secure CI/CD pipelines for enterprise teams, and work with the Configuration Manager on versioning, branching, and tagging processes so infrastructure and application code remain consistent and auditable. The role combines configuration management and pipeline automation to reduce environment drift and improve reliability and compliance. It also involves escalation support and external customer support for cloud-related incidents and service requests.
