DevSecOps Senior Automation Platform Engineer

CACI International•Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
•$108,400 - $227,500

About The Position

The DevSecOps Senior Automation Platform Engineer supports the DSO Platform, a regularly evolving suite of software development and delivery tools hosted on AWS and built with cloud-native technologies in a container-driven ecosystem on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). The platform currently includes GitLab, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Nexus Repository, SonarQube, Draw.io, Semgrep, Keycloak, and ArgoCD. AWS-native tools support logging and monitoring, with plans for a Grafana-based monitoring stack in FY26. The role focuses on automating builds, deployments, testing, and compliance checks through scripting, templating, and pipeline design. The engineer develops reusable templates to help enterprise teams establish consistent, secure CI/CD pipelines and works with the Configuration Manager on versioning, branching, and tagging processes. By combining configuration management and pipeline automation, the engineer helps keep infrastructure and application components in an auditable state, reduce drift between test and production environments, and improve reliability and compliance. The role also involves external customer support.
