About The Position

The Executive Director, DevSecOps & Engineering Platform Tools will lead the strategy, engineering, modernization, and operation of enterprise platforms supporting the software development lifecycle. The role brings together engineering tools, delivery pipelines, and self-service automation into a cohesive platform ecosystem to improve developer experience, strengthen software supply chain controls, and advance Continuous Delivery. The leader is accountable for ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, cost-effective, and straightforward for engineering teams to adopt. The position builds strong engineering teams, establishes clear service ownership, and partners with application engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and risk teams to turn enterprise priorities into reliable, reusable capabilities. It also owns portfolio prioritization, delivery commitments, resource planning, vendor relationships, and financial management, and communicates platform health, risks, investment needs, delivery progress, and business value to senior leadership. The role owns engineering platform services and delivery enablement, while partnering with rather than replacing application delivery ownership, enterprise testing strategy, cybersecurity policy ownership, and infrastructure platform engineering. Detailed tool ownership and organizational boundaries are to be finalized in the role charter.
