About The Position

Outside Analytics, a subsidiary of SMX, is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the next generation of Space Force Remote Sensing capabilities. The role involves building, integrating, and operationally supporting emerging space-ground systems, including real-time data processing frameworks, sensor data processing, and data visualization. This position is on-site in Boulder, CO, five days a week, and offers an opportunity to work with passionate companies dedicated to addressing customer needs.

Requirements

Active Interim DoD Secret Clearance.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Participate in a background screen.
5+ years demonstrable, proficient, hands-on experience with: Bash/Python scripting
GitLab CI/CD pipeline stages and configuration
Artifactory
Creating tests to handle multiple languages
Container management (Docker)

Nice To Haves

Active DoD TS/SCI eligible clearance highly preferred
Proficiency with Kubernetes/ArgoCD
Proficiency with OpenShift/ELK
Proficiency with Prometheus/Tempo/Grafana
Proficiency with Helm charts
Proficiency with NATS data layer
Cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP)
Linux system administration (RHEL)

Responsibilities

Work with deployment teams to orchestrate deployments to development, test, and operational environments.
Execute software release process for branching, versioning, manifest management, development readiness assessments and test.
Create, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
Monitor CI pipelines for performance and resolve observed or reported issues.
Implement and maintain version promotion of one or more applications within CI pipelines.
Integrate CI pipelines with development tools for artifact management, software test, software quality assessment, etc.
Implement Continuous Delivery and execute automated or manual deployments of applications into orchestrated environments.
Manage integration, security scanning, and deployment of multiple applications into orchestrated frameworks.
Execute checkout and troubleshooting of deployed applications within development and production environments.
Implement and maintain Helm charts.
Ensure cybersecurity protocols are followed.
