About The Position

Peraton seeks a DevSecOps Developer to support the Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. In this role, you will lead DevSecOps practices for the Analytic Development Team, implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing within the CDSO framework. This position is located at Fort Meade, MD.

Requirements

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Kubernetes certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of security scanning tools and practices
• Experience with version control and branching strategies
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS SCI or the ability to obtain/maintain

Nice To Haves

• AWS DevOps or equivalent
• 8 years specific experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• DoD TS SCI

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for analytic applications
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible
• Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines
• Manage containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ensure code quality through automated testing
• Collaborate with security team on DevSecOps standards
