About The Position

DevSecOps Engineer The Opportunity: Today’s dynamic technology landscape demands constant and rapid innovation. That’s why we need you, a DevSecOps engineer who’s eager to help us engineer, test, and program critical applications for our clients who need them most. As a Software Factory DevSecOps Engineer on our team, you’ll help pipeline our software development from requirements to testing in production. Your team will incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—innovate. You’ll work with professionals to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. As a member of our U.S. Space Force team, you’ll demonstrate a proactive approach to work, consistently anticipating needs and taking initiative to address challenges before they arise. Requirements

  • Experience with AWS services and Cloud-native architecture patterns, including EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EKS, RDS, IAM policies, security groups, or network security
  • Experience with Docker and K8s
  • Experience troubleshooting system, performance, and connectivity issues across enterprise environments
  • Experience performing system hardening, ensuring compliance with security policies and controls, and collaborating with cybersecurity, network, and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Ability to maintain system documentation, baselines, and configuration standards
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to work, with pride in ownership of taskings
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps in lieu of a degree
  • Secret clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience with IT and software development
  • Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures, latency, and misconfiguration
  • Experience with Bash or Python scripting
  • Experience using active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, such as Loki, Grafana, or Elastic Search
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, such as Confluence or Jira, and diagraming software
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Docker and K8 Certifications
