About The Position

Silotech Group, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to architect, secure, deploy, and commercialize next-generation AI-enabled platforms for government and enterprise missions. The role combines secure cloud engineering, AI/ML operationalization, platform development, and scalable product delivery. The position is suited to an engineer experienced in building AI-enabled applications in regulated environments, implementing secure cloud-native architectures in AWS GovCloud, and advancing solutions from prototype to production-ready commercial offerings. The engineer will design and maintain secure cloud-native AI platforms, build DevSecOps pipelines, and support the full lifecycle of AI systems, from prototyping through deployment, hardening, monitoring, and sustainment. The role also involves integrating APIs, telemetry, enterprise services, and AI orchestration frameworks; supporting security and compliance activities; and collaborating across engineering, security, and product teams to transition prototypes into commercial products. The position is remote or hybrid within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or AI platform development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud deployments and secure cloud architectures.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, LLM integrations, or AI-enabled application architectures.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Understanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Ability to work independently in highly technical and evolving environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience supporting ATO, RMF, FedRAMP, IL5/IL6, or related compliance efforts.
  • Knowledge of secure enclave architectures and air-gapped deployment models.
  • Experience with AI product commercialization, transition-to-production efforts, or dual-use technology development.
  • Background in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or offensive/defensive security engineering.
  • Active or previously held U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoD, federal, or national security customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure cloud-native AI platforms and supporting infrastructure.
  • Build and manage DevSecOps pipelines for AI/ML workloads and enterprise applications.
  • Deploy and operationalize solutions within AWS GovCloud and other regulated cloud environments.
  • Support AI systems throughout their lifecycle, including prototyping, deployment, hardening, monitoring, and sustainment.
  • Implement secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Integrate APIs, telemetry sources, enterprise services, and AI orchestration frameworks into scalable workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to transition prototypes into commercially viable products.
  • Support compliance initiatives, including secure architecture reviews, ATO readiness, and security hardening.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, platform scalability, and product roadmap development.
  • Assist with technical proposal development, demonstrations, and customer engagements when needed.
