About The Position

As a DevOps Specialist, you will support the DevOps team in maintaining and improving the systems that enable secure, reliable, and efficient application deployment. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals who are eager to build foundational skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and application support. You will work closely with DevOps Engineers and development teams to assist with deployments, monitor systems, and troubleshoot issues while gaining exposure to modern DevOps practices.

Requirements

0–2+ years of experience in IT, DevOps, or related field (internships count)
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
Exposure to CI/CD concepts or tools (Azure DevOps a plus)
Basic understanding of Linux and/or Windows environments
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset
Organization and ability to follow structured processes
Dependability and consistency in completing assigned tasks
Collaboration and a spirit of camaraderie
Basic time management and ability to prioritize tasks with guidance

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with containers or Kubernetes is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and monitoring CI/CD pipelines
Support application deployments and environment configurations
Monitor system performance, alerts, and logs; escalate issues as needed
Assist in troubleshooting basic infrastructure, application, and networking issues
Support Kubernetes environments and application servers under guidance
Help maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
Assist in implementing automation scripts and tools
Collaborate with development teams to support application releases
Continuously learn and stay current with DevOps tools and practices
