About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the DevOps Manager leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. This role partners closely with Engineering, Data Science, Product, and IT to keep our platforms secure, scalable, reliable, and optimized for continuous delivery. The DevOps Manager is a hands-on technical leader who drives automation, operational excellence, and cloud strategy while mentoring the DevOps team and supporting the organization's growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, including 2+ years in a lead or management capacity
  • Strong, hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
  • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js and Python deployment environments
  • Strong Linux systems-administration skills
  • Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and modern infrastructure architecture
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon SageMaker and machine-learning infrastructure (MLOps)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
  • Background in Project Management and/or Release Management
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies
  • Experience in a fast-growing SaaS or technology-driven organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code to enable rapid, reliable, automated delivery
  • Partner with Software Engineering to streamline deployment and optimize Nodejs and Python runtime environments
  • Manage and optimize Amazon SageMaker infrastructure to support model training, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Implement cloud-security best practices, including IAM, networking, secrets management, and compliance controls
  • Own observability and reliability — monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvement
  • Manage backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity strategies
  • Develop automation tooling that improves operational efficiency and reduces manual work
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and delivery
  • Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational procedures, and manage relationships with cloud vendors and technology partners
