About The Position

Wipro is hiring a Devops Lead L1 with mandatory Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) skills and 5–8 years of experience. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. The position also builds high-performance microservices integrated with databases, messaging systems, and external services; writes clean, maintainable, well-tested code; troubleshoots production issues; optimizes application performance; and improves system reliability. The role collaborates with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation depends on factors including geographic location, minimum-wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

5–8 years of experience.
Mandatory Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) skills.
Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, Docker, and cloud platforms.
