About The Position

Uniphore is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineering Intern to join their infrastructure team for [Summer/Fall/Spring] 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience with real systems, focusing on automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The program is designed to provide a strong foundation in modern DevOps practices, with interns contributing to CI/CD pipeline monitoring, cloud resource provisioning, scripting for automation, documentation, and participating in team agile ceremonies. Interns will also explore monitoring dashboards, investigate system alerts, and work on a scoped project with a defined deliverable.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Basic familiarity with Linux/Unix command line
Some exposure to at least one scripting language (Python or Bash preferred)
Awareness of cloud concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure) through coursework or self-study
Curious, self-motivated, and comfortable asking questions
Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

Personal or class projects involving Git, Docker, or any CI/CD tool
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code concepts (Terraform, Ansible)
Any cloud certifications or online coursework (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog

Responsibilities

Support CI/CD pipeline monitoring and help identify areas for improvement
Assist with provisioning and configuring cloud resources under engineer guidance
Write scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks
Help maintain and improve internal documentation and runbooks
Participate in team standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Explore monitoring dashboards and help investigate system alerts
Work on a scoped intern project with a defined deliverable by end of term
