  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Comfort working with Linux servers and shell scripting.
  • Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; eager to learn.
  • Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment as an individual contributor.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • Currently reside in the St. Louis metro area or willing to relocate at your own expense. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
  • Must be a U.S. Person. Immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided.

  • Working on cross-functional teams alongside other engineering disciplines.
  • Working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Take over and maintain the existing GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, improving reliability, build times, and developer experience.
  • Manage internal server and cloud infrastructure to ensure availability and performance for the engineering team.
  • Standardize and integrate internally built engineering tools to streamline development workflows.
  • Maintain and extend automated testing frameworks within the pipeline, working with software engineers to expand coverage.
  • Help diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues for fielded systems.
  • Document existing systems, capture institutional knowledge from the engineers who built them, and establish sustainable operational practices.
