About The Position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform and either AWS or Azure cloud platforms. The role involves writing Terraform code for various services, implementing best practices, managing deployments, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing applications on the cloud, specifically leveraging AWS for disaster recovery. Familiarity with GCP best practices is also beneficial. This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months, requiring the candidate to be onsite in Phoenix, AZ from Day 1.

Requirements

• Terraform coding/development experience.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Terraform commands, best practices, deployments, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Terraform Registry.
• Experience writing Terraform modules for Services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, EC2, EKS, Lambda's.
• Specific experience with the AWS Provider of Terraform.
• Experience configuring Remote State management using S3 and DynamoDB.
• Good experience writing Terraform code for critical Production Systems.

Nice To Haves

• HashiCorp Certification is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with GCP best practices and recommendations to set up, configure, and manage at the enterprise level.
• Prior experience in automated build pipeline continuous integration.
• Experience with tools such as TFLint, TerraScan, TerraGrunt.
