About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS or Azure DevOps engineer with a mandatory requirement for Terraform expertise. This is a contract position located in Phoenix, AZ, requiring a 5-day onsite presence, with an initial duration of 12+ months.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role
• Hands-on experience in AWS and Terraform
• Strong understanding of core AWS services and architecture, including networking (VPC, subnets, route tables), compute, storage, and security best practices
• In-depth knowledge of the Terraform workflow (init, plan, apply), state management (including remote backends like S3), and modular design
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly beneficial
