About The Position

As a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) Ansible & Automation, you will develop innovative automation and operational processes that significantly simplify the daily work of international teams. You will work on stable, scalable, and future-proof IT solutions and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of automation platforms. Whether it's Infrastructure Automation, Configuration Management, Monitoring, or Incident Management: you ensure that IT systems can be operated efficiently, reliably, and sustainably. You will develop and optimize automation solutions with Ansible and drive their continuous further development. You will create, maintain, and optimize workflows, playbooks, and roles with Ansible and AWX. You will support international teams in the implementation and productive use of automation solutions. You will analyze existing automation processes, identify optimization potential, and develop them sustainably. You will design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to increase system stability and transparency. You will work closely with international DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams and contribute your expertise to joint projects. You will analyze disruptions, resolve incidents, and ensure the smooth operation of automated processes. You will document automations, workflows, and best practices and ensure knowledge transfer within the teams. You will contribute your own ideas for improving processes, workflows, and automation standards.

Requirements

Completed IT training or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
Several years of experience in DevOps, IT automation, or system engineering.
Very good knowledge of Ansible and the development of automation workflows.
Proficient in YAML.
Experience with AWX or comparable automation platforms.
Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
German and English language skills at at least B2 level.
Willingness for occasional business trips within Germany (approx. 20 days per year).

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Oracle SQL or other enterprise database environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
Knowledge of Jira or comparable ticket and collaboration tools.
Experience in an international IT environment.
