About The Position

The DevOps Engineer will help build, operate, and improve the cloud infrastructure that supports our applications and services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, automation, and improving system reliability while growing their skills in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment. You’ll work closely with software engineers and other partners to support deployments, improve observability, and ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or software engineering roles
  • Hands‑on experience working with AWS or another major cloud provider
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  • Experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience a plus
  • Basic experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Understanding of Linux systems and cloud networking fundamentals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting production systems and participating in incident response
  • Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB)
  • Exposure to Kubernetes in production or staging environments
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices
  • Interest in improving developer experience and automation

Responsibilities

  • Help design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS
  • Contribute to and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
  • Write and maintain automation scripts and tooling (Python, shell scripting, etc.)
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Assist with operating and troubleshooting production infrastructure, including networking, databases, and services
  • Help deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts; assist with diagnosing and resolving issues
  • Participate in incident response and shared on‑call rotations with guidance and support
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve system reliability, performance, and developer experience
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement efforts
