About The Position

This role supports the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract and currently has an opening for a DevOps Engineer. SES is seeking a DevOps Engineer supporting AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness. This position required is hybrid with on-site support as needed. Candidate must be within 50 miles of Boston, MA or Huntsville/Montogomery, AL.

Requirements

• AWS Infrastructure Fundamentals (core AWS services like EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, S3)
• Familiarity with networking concepts (subnets, security groups, routing)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) experience
• Git-Based Source Control (GitLab Preferred) proficiency
• CI/CD Pipelines understanding
• System Administration (Linux/Server Management) skills
• Security Hardening & STIG Compliance familiarity
• Backup and Recovery Operations understanding
• ServiceNow (Basic Administration) familiarity
• Troubleshooting & Operational Support skills
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years or more of experience (additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
• Coding language experience required: C#, .NET, Angular (Javascript)
• Interim Secret clearance required to start
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
• US citizenship required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1
• ITIL Certification
