About The Position

HealthEdge is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong Java background to build, automate, and operate infrastructure for its healthcare technology platform. The role connects development and operations by accelerating delivery pipelines, strengthening cloud infrastructure, and supporting the reliability of healthcare systems. The position is fully remote in the United States and is full-time and permanent. The engineer will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based microservices and enterprise healthcare applications; automate infrastructure provisioning; deploy and manage AWS services; and configure storage, access, monitoring, and logging. The role also includes troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues, writing automation scripts, managing source control, supporting Docker and Kubernetes environments, and applying security controls, including HIPAA-related controls. The engineer will collaborate with Java development teams and onshore and offshore colleagues, support healthcare partner integrations and EDI transaction pipelines, improve deployment and operational practices, mentor developers, and lead root cause analysis and post-mortems for production incidents. The position may require travel depending on company needs and may involve long periods at a computer, working across time zones, and occasional movement around an office.
