About The Position

Pragmatike is partnering with a fast-growing technology company to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team building and operating modern cloud-native infrastructure at scale. You'll work on automation, platform reliability, observability, and deployment systems that support mission-critical applications used globally. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and takes ownership of systems from design through production operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote environment.

  • Security, compliance, or infrastructure governance experience.
  • Previous startup or scale-up experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across production environments.
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Contribute to security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence.
