About The Position

SS&C is hiring a DevOps Engineer to own major components of its delivery platform and cloud infrastructure. The role leads the design and optimization of systems supporting CI/CD, deployment automation, and production reliability, while mentoring engineers and helping establish standards across the team. The engineer will balance hands-on work such as debugging distributed systems with platform roadmap development and cross-functional collaboration. The position is offered in a hybrid arrangement in Kansas City, Missouri, or remotely in Missouri, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. The team values ownership, thoughtful decision-making, continuous improvement, automation, knowledge-sharing, and balancing delivery speed with long-term reliability. Success is measured by deployment frequency, change-failure rate, system availability, incident resolution speed, security and compliance posture, and cloud cost efficiency.
