About The Position

We are actively seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with 11–15 years of relevant experience to support a 200+ FTE technical development program delivering modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph. As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain cloud-based software systems supporting mission-critical operations. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, automation, and deployment. This position also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 mission-critical services.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 11–15 years of relevant DevOps or Software Engineering experience
  • Expert-level Linux operating system experience
  • Expert knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Rundeck
  • Extensive experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using DevOps practices
  • Experience with software testing tools such as JUnit
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments
  • Experience scripting and administering AWS cloud services including: CloudFormation, EC2, S3, RDS & VPC
  • Experience with containerization technologies including: Docker, Amazon EKS & Amazon ECS
  • Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience administering Nexus repositories
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using version control systems
  • Experience using issue and problem tracking systems
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience deploying, orchestrating, and scaling containerized applications in production
  • Knowledge of container registries and container security best practices
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting mission-critical systems

Responsibilities
