Senior DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI Clearance with Poly
About The Position
We are actively seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with 11–15 years of relevant experience to support a 200+ FTE technical development program delivering modern Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph. As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, build, and maintain cloud-based software systems supporting mission-critical operations. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, automation, and deployment. This position also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 mission-critical services.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 11–15 years of relevant DevOps or Software Engineering experience
- Expert-level Linux operating system experience
- Expert knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Rundeck
- Extensive experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using DevOps practices
- Experience with software testing tools such as JUnit
- Experience working within Agile software development environments
- Experience scripting and administering AWS cloud services including: CloudFormation, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC
- Experience with containerization technologies including: Docker, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS
- Knowledge of container registries and container security best practices
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting mission-critical systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience working within Sponsor cloud environments
- Additional Nexus administration and maintenance experience
- Experience leading enterprise-scale DevOps initiatives supporting secure cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based software systems supporting mission-critical operations.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, automation, and deployment.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 mission-critical services.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy, orchestrate, and scale containerized applications in production.
- Administer Nexus repositories.
- Use version control systems.
- Use issue and problem tracking systems.
