About The Position

Miratech is seeking a highly skilled Platform DevOps Engineer with a strong software development background to join its engineering team. The role bridges software development and IT operations, supporting the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The core product is built on .NET/C#, so collaboration with development teams and familiarity with their ecosystem are important.

The engineer will manage AWS infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, use infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools, write Python automation, and improve platform reliability. They will work closely with .NET development teams to streamline the development lifecycle, optimize applications for the cloud, and promote DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering role.
• A proven software development background, with strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in Python and hands-on experience developing automation scripts, tools, and solutions for infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes.
• Extensive experience with AWS and deep knowledge of container orchestration using EKS and ECS.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and branching strategies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or background with .NET/C# technologies and a strong understanding of the .NET software development lifecycle.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS and ECS.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage cloud resources with Terraform and perform configuration management and application deployment with Ansible.
• Write maintainable Python code for automation, tooling, and system integrations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with .NET development teams to streamline the development lifecycle, optimize application architecture for the cloud, and promote DevOps best practices.
