DevOps engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of proven DevOps software development experience. The role involves managing the DevOps process and function, creating CI/CD pipelines with Light speed and Jenkins, and handling code management with Bitbucket/Github. You will be responsible for hands-on SDLC processes and promotions, release management using ServiceNow, and expertise in Openshift/Kubernetes infrastructure. This position requires debugging Openshift issues, capacity monitoring, and exposure to service mesh architecture. Additionally, you will be involved in container log monitoring and debugging, utilizing Kibana/Grafana, and performing hands-on shell scripting for pipeline automation. A key aspect of this role is cross-functional coordination with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of proven DevOps software development experience
- Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools for building (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and deploying code (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift)
- Experience with AWS is considered a significant advantage
- Utilizing tools to track performance, monitor system health, and integrate security into the development lifecycle (DevOps)
- Acting as a liaison between developers and IT operations to ensure smooth, high-quality releases
- Hands on experience - Kibana/Grafana
- Hands on Shell Scripting, automation of pipelines
