•$106,300 - $206,200

About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to build, secure, and operate the shared platform that client mission applications run on. The role works within a multidisciplinary team to deliver and sustain EC2- and Kubernetes-based infrastructure hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and C2S, using infrastructure as code and GitOps practices to keep environments reproducible and consistently configured across multiple security domains. The engineer builds and maintains automation that moves applications from commit to production, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines, hardened container images, automated scanning, and controlled promotion of approved artifacts into air-gapped environments. The role supports teammates managing Authorization to Operate (ATO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, primarily by remediating security findings in platform infrastructure and container images. The engineer must also be available to provide Tier 1–3 support for the deployed platform.

  • Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or a comparable language for automation and operational tooling.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent), or DoD 8140 equivalent.
