The role leads the design and delivery of a secure, scalable, cloud-native self-service platform for automated deployment of containerized applications and enterprise APIs for federal data consumers. It works closely with stakeholders to define architectural vision and Kubernetes standards, and to deliver PaaS and end-to-end software solutions that accelerate development while ensuring compliance and reliability. This is a remote access assignment. The candidate works remotely daily and accesses customer systems using approved customer-provided communications systems. Travel is not required, although onsite client meetings may be requested. The position focuses on self-service platform capabilities, cloud-native architecture, stakeholder collaboration, engineering standards, PaaS solutions, software lifecycle automation, secure DevSecOps practices, platform monitoring and business intelligence, continuous improvement, and governance and compliance. IGS describes its culture through values of integrity, empathy, strong work ethic, and lifelong learning. Compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications. IGS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
