About The Position
Gcore is seeking a DevOps Engineer/SRE to work on its Cloud IaaS infrastructure. The role supports the infrastructure and software that power Gcore’s global AI, cloud, network, and security solutions. The position involves deploying and maintaining infrastructure, diagnosing software and hardware issues, and improving infrastructure lifecycle pipelines. The technology stack includes Linux, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Bash, Python, OpenStack, and Ceph.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems.
- Experience with OpenStack.
- Experience with at least one configuration management system, such as Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Solid understanding of computer networking, including routing and switching principles.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a strong desire to understand systems at a low level.
- Ability to write Bash and Python scripts.
- Familiarity with virtualization systems such as KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency sufficient for communication in chat and on calls.

- Experience with Ceph.
