As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service provider s to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Requirements

7+ years of experience in IT, including system administration, sof tware engineering, or DevOps engineering
3+ years of experience supporting sof tware development teams in a professional work environment
2+ years of experience managing a data cluster, such as Elasticsearch cluster or a MongoDB replica set, in a professional work environment
2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
2+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and push ing releases across environments
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in DevOps, or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

15+ years of experience in IT, including system administration, sof tware engineering, and DevOps engineering
5+ years of experience in a DevSecOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
Experience managing, upgrading, and scaling Elasticsearch clusters and MongoDB replica sets
Experience with Elasticsearch index design and query optimization
Experience migrating Elasticsearch data from one sharding strategy to another
Experience implementing MongoDB replication and sharding strategies and cluster design
Experience working with JSON on a daily basis
Experience implementing AI-based solutions
Experience with Bash, CloudFormation, Git, and Jenkins
Master’s degree
