Our team is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer with an enterprise software deployment background who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a talented Agile engineering team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons’ Space Operations directorate. You will work with software engineers and data scientists to support the development, testing, security and deployment of operational machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to our Space Force customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical discipline with at least 2 years technical experience. Relevant experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree
This opportunity requires the selected candidate to hold an active Department of Defense TS/SCI level security clearance which requires US citizenship while working in support of a government contract
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, GitLab)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Ability to support and troubleshoot issues on Linux/Unix Operating Systems
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with AWS (preferred) or Azure managed cloud services
Experience with automated deployment and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
Experience with static code analysis tools (e.g. Coverity, Fortify)
Relational database development experience
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Knowledge of software engineering and programming concepts
Relevant certifications (e.g. Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
