About the position
This is an excellent opportunity to join Guardsquare as a DevOps Engineer and get involved in the mobile application security world. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with different stakeholders and subdivisions within the R&D department to help development engineers focus on their core responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Standardizing and automating software development processes as much as possible
- Providing state-of-the-art tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Providing tools for agile development and testing
- Helping in setting up measurements and dashboards
- Cooperating with engineering teams to continuously improve the delivery of software
- Automating and visualizing steps in the software development pipeline
- Developing and maintaining automated build and testing platforms for software
- Helping teams towards delivering reproducible results using infrastructure as code approaches
- Identifying infrastructure requirements and working with system administration to meet them
- Keeping up to date with recent developments in the DevOps discipline and implementing best-in-class solutions
Requirements
- Team player, problem-solver, and data-driven
- Continuous Improvement mindset
- Experience with Docker, Python, Bash
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Minimum of 2 years experience using or maintaining non-trivial CI setups
- Computer science degree
- Familiarity with C++ and/or Java is a plus
- Knowledge of Mobile development: X-code, Android Studio, Gradle, etc. is a plus
