Allround Software Engineer (several growth opportunities towards product software engineer, QA, DevOps, ...)

This job description is for a young graduate program at Guardsquare, a company specializing in mobile application security. The program offers recent graduates in computer science the opportunity to learn and work on various aspects of securing mobile applications. Participants will be part of a dedicated team within R&D, where they will perform diverse tasks and gain a thorough understanding of the company's products, customers, and internal processes. This program aims to help graduates figure out their career path within Guardsquare, such as software engineering, quality assurance, devops, or solution engineering.

• Become an expert user of Guardsquare products
• Provide first line support to customers
• Assist in product development through bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance optimizations
• Improve customer documentation
• Implement and improve the (automated) test suite
• Develop technical skills in software development, compiler technology, mobile application development, and security

• Graduating soon or recently graduated in a computer science related field
• Passionate about (Mobile) Security
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast evolving and engaging environment
• Good knowledge of Java and/or C++ programming
• Interest in Compiler Technology and Mobile Security
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to try different aspects of R&D
• Basic knowledge of mobile app development (nice to have)
• Understanding or knowledge of compiler technology and security (nice to have)
• Experience working in a team to achieve a common goal (nice to have)
• Experience contributing to (open source) software projects (nice to have)
