This role involves performing evaluations and laboratory testing on devices, container-closure components, packaging, and shipping systems using specialized equipment and documenting results.

Requirements

Bachelor's in science, engineering, or technology, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major).
At least 3 months of related laboratory experience.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Demonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven, and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environment.
Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and laboratory testing on devices, primary container-closure components and systems, critical secondary packaging, and shipping systems utilizing mechanical testing equipment, dimension measurement instruments, and container closure integrity testing systems.
Use of Zwick and other materials testing equipment.
Execute methods, collect data, and document results in lab notebooks and LIMS.
Participate in the development of laboratory test methods or equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy of results.
Interact with colleagues in other groups on a routine basis.
Ensure all activities follow established safety standards, regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).
Collaborate closely with leaders and clients in implementing overall business directives.
