This role involves performing evaluations and laboratory testing on devices, container-closure components, packaging, and shipping systems using specialized equipment and documenting results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in science, engineering, or technology, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major).
  • At least 3 months of related laboratory experience.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven, and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and laboratory testing on devices, primary container-closure components and systems, critical secondary packaging, and shipping systems utilizing mechanical testing equipment, dimension measurement instruments, and container closure integrity testing systems.
  • Use of Zwick and other materials testing equipment.
  • Execute methods, collect data, and document results in lab notebooks and LIMS.
  • Participate in the development of laboratory test methods or equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy of results.
  • Interact with colleagues in other groups on a routine basis.
  • Ensure all activities follow established safety standards, regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).
  • Collaborate closely with leaders and clients in implementing overall business directives.
