About The Position

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available. Qorvo’s Device Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in the physical sciences, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor metrology and failure analysis data
  • Strong data analysis skills using a variety of tools
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Capable of independent, self-directed work
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong Leadership skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Analysis and review of semiconductor manufacturing data (metrology, FA, and test) to determine root cause and identify solutions
  • Design and perform experiments and lead or participate in teams developing manufacturing solutions and improved process integration in a production wafer fab
  • Use, develop, and improve data analysis and data collection software tools
  • Review product mask designs to determine compliance with design rules and implications for wafer fab processing
  • Correlate RF test data results to wafer fab processing data
