About The Position

The Device Clinic Nurse Specialist will function as a subject expert and/or program coordinator in providing nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults. This role involves providing nursing assessments of patient conditions, evaluating follow-up needs, and coordinating the patient's plan of care. The specialist will also provide health education for patients and their families, collaborate on planning and problem-solving solutions with health team members, and manage patients clinically as directed by the physician.

Requirements

  • Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
  • BSN required
  • BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
  • 3 years of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
