About The Position

DSC provides educational, professional, residential, employment and behavioral support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford counties. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Child Development or related field.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain Illinois Early Intervention credential.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and ability to travel throughout Champaign County to fulfill responsibilities of the position.
• Knowledge of EI principles, local community resources and support services.

• Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention services to children birth to age three in their natural environment.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide wrap around support to children and their families to support child development.
• Complete evaluations, assessments, and screenings in accordance with Early Intervention requirements, professional standards, and scope of practice.
• Maintain electronic client records and complete all service documentation and billing within DSC, EI, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular departmental, interdisciplinary, and other meetings as required.
