About The Position
Assist in the implementation of an early intervention program for infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) who have a developmental delay, atypical development, and/or a diagnosed condition with a high probability of resulting in a delay, as well as their families. Provide Developmental Services to those enrolled in the Part C Early Intervention Services in the city of Martinsville & the counties of Henry, Franklin & Patrick.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, special education, a human services related field or any discipline or profession listed under Part C Personnel Standards; or a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Virginia.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working pleasantly and cooperatively with a wide variety of people.
- Willingness to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year experience working with children under the age of three with intellectual disabilities or developmental delays & implementing multidisciplinary service plans.
