About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is hiring a full-time Independent Assessor to support a collaborative partnership with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. The assessor conducts structured assessments with children and adults living with autism and developmental disabilities to help determine eligibility for home and community-based services that promote independence, wellbeing, quality of life, and community inclusion. The role involves leading video and in-person meetings, interviewing family members, guardians, and caregivers, administering assessments, writing reports, and making recommendations. Work is primarily remote from a home office, with periodic regional travel for in-person meetings. Travel is estimated at 10% to 25%, primarily in Twin Falls County and occasionally in neighboring counties.

Requirements

At least one year of experience supporting people living with autism, developmental disabilities, or other disabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Bachelor's degree.
Idaho residency.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), Case Manager or Case Worker, Social Worker or Service Coordinator, Client Advocate, or in special education.

Responsibilities
